I'm a guitar and bass guitar player. I play guitar solo as z0nk and with Miranda Rights, and I play bass guitar (and sing) with Prints and Angel Up Front.
My main axes are a Gretsch Tennesse Rose '62 re-issue (G6119) and a Gretsch Electromatic hollowbody , Cort Jim Triggs, Ibanez Talman, Ibanez AM-100. I also play a japanese re-issue Fender Jaguar (which really belongs to my wife). She's also got some other cool guitars: an Indie ES-335, a Legato, and a Crafter (really good) copy of a T5.
Effects-wise it varies quite a lot, but is a combination of Behringer clean boost, Dunlop Cry-Baby wah-wah, Roland GP-8 multi-effects processor, Behringer Phaser, MXR flanger, and a Yamaha UDstomp multi-tap delay. For the z0nk and Miranda Rights stuff, it's mostly a Line 6 Pod Pro into a PD patch of my own (which, among other things, emulates the Gibson Echoplex looper.)
Amps-wise:, 1-watt Hughes&Kettner "Bluesmaster" head, epiphone Valve Junior 5-watt class A all-valve small combo, Marhsall JCM900 50-watt combo, and Fender "The Twin" 100-watt combo. Can't have too many amps, can you?
For bass, I mostly play two (identical) five-string Ibanez EDB605 bass guitars, and four string Ibanez RB-850 and Dean electric double-bass. This is usually going through a fairly elaborate pedalboard, with a Kort DT-10 tuner, Behringer graphic EQ, Gallien-Krueger Diesel Dawg, Digitach Bass Overdrive, Marshall Vibro-Trem, and a Nobel A-B switch. There's also an Ibanew PW-10 wah in the effects loop of my Trace-Elliot 250w 4-x10 combo.
